XBMC 9.11 op Ubuntu 9.04?

    Runt XBMC 9.11 wel op Ubuntu 9.04? Ik heb de i386 desktop versie van Jaunty geïnstalleerd en de instructies op xbmc.org gevolgd om via de Package Manager XBMC geïnstalleerd te krijgen, maar het daadwerkelijk installeren van XBMC gaat continu fout, omdat ie dependencies heeft die hij niet kan oplossen.

    Door steeds verder af te dalen in de dependency-boom kom ik uiteindelijk bij de installatie van xbmc-bin uit op de melding dat ie de volgende libraries niet kan vinden en dus installeren:

    • libenca0 (>=1.9)
    • libaac0 (>1.2.6)
    • libfaad0 (>2.6.1)
    • libmms0 (>=0.3-4)

    Heeft iemand een idee hoe en of dit op te lossen is?

    sudo apt-get install libenca0 libaac0 libfaad0 libmms0

    In de Software Sources verwijs ik gewoon naar de 2 default repositories die op de Linux download instructies staan van xbmc.org.

    Het betreft trouwens een compleet nieuwe installatie van Ubuntu 9.04. Alle laatste updates zijn uitgevoerd.

    Zou het nog iets te maken kunnen hebben met hget feit dat ik deze Ubuntu install draai vanaf een USB drive die ik met een 4GB casper-rw heb aangemaakt? Ik heb daarvoor de Windows installer van pendrivelinux.com gebruikt.

    Ik heb de packages uiteindelijk hadmatig kunnen installeren door ze te downloaden van http://packages.ubuntu.com/jaunty/libs/.
