Sat HD on XBMCFreak

    Hello everybody, is possible to watch Satellite HD channels on XBMCFreak? I have a ION based box and i want to buy a HD satellite PCIe card, do you have some experience with this?

    You can try yavdr at http://www.yavdr.org
    It is in early stage but i tried it already and it works preety well with the twin tuner via usb from tevii ( model 660 ) with an nt330i from foxconn, pretty cool ion board !!!

    That is perfect! I was looking to two Tevii products:

    - TeVii S470 DVB-S2 PCIe: http://www.tevii.com/Products_S470_1.asp

    - TeVii S660 DVB-S2 USB: http://www.tevii.com/Products_S660_1.asp

    Which will you recomend to an HTPC?

    I want to watch HD channels by card-sharing, is possible with thoose HD-sat tunners and a ION board?

    I try MythTV but is so hard to configure it. It will great to get SAT channels on my XBMCFreak!

    You should go for the S660 from tevii, just wait with buying, i heard there was an production fault, so there are basically 2 version ( Rev. A & B ) you should go and ask for the B version in this case, i going to test this situation very soon, i will let you know !

    I heard something similar as deffcon from my supplier. I am having tuning problems with a first generation S660. See here about getting the S660 to work with Ubuntu Karmic and VDR.

    Hello, I prefer to use XBMCFreak. I like this software.

    Is possible to integrate some plugin or module to XBMCFreak to get working satellite HD channels?
